Owls have been combining their knowledge about electricity from science with their experience of programing micro:bits in a cross-curricular topic in computing this half term. They first used the micro:bits to investigate which materials conduct electricity and then created reaction games using this knowledge. A couple of children also challenged themselves to create something different: Akira made a ‘guitar’ and Logan invented his own game! The children had to be resilient and use their problem-solving skills as there were many problems (such as broken crocodile clips or incorrect code) with getting the games to work.
