Wrens – Emma for producing some fantastic artwork this week.

Swifts – Amelia for always being engaged in every lesson – even during a heatwave!

Kestrels – Alice for using what she has learnt in her writing.

Falcons – Darcie for trying hard to complete her learning tasks more independently this week.

Owls – Charles for working very hard in History and asking sensible questions in PSHE.

Presentation Star of the Week

Wrens – Ernie for working hard to improve his letter formation this week.

Robins – Rex Heaton-Parker for taking care and pride over his work

Swifts – Ezra for trying his best to improve the formation of his letters.

Kestrels – Hettie for her beautiful presentation when writing a report about an imaginery festival.

Falcons – Elliott for his effort to ensure his work is as neat as possible.

Owls – Emma for presenting her lines in the play with great expression.

Home Learning Presentations

Wrens – Evie for her presentation about her favourite animals including cheetahs, horses, rabbits, kittens and puppies.

Swifts – Felicity for her presentations about capybaras.

Falcons – Poppy for her presentation about the Clacton Airshow.

Falcons – India for her presentation about her collection of precious stones and gems.

Owls – Harrison for his presentation about different buildings around the world. He answered the question “How on Earth did they build that?”

 

Attendance

Attendance this week has been low. Collection at 1.15pm due to the extreme heat has not
been recorded as an absence. Authorised and unauthorised absence affects the overall attendance figure for the class. Absence coding is at my discretion and where school has stayed open, children have been expected in school unless genuinely ill. When absences have been recorded as unauthorised this has absolutely no benefit to the school, we are judged by Ofsted using this data,
so it is not a decision made lightly. 

 

 

Housepoints

Well done to Blacksmiths who won the housepoint total this week. Bury are in the
lead but it is close!
