School Complaints Procedure

We care what you think

We are a small school where every child is known as an individual. We value our relationships between school staff, parents/carers and children and we put the children at the centre of all decision making.

We always strive to get things right 100% of the time, but we understand that there may be occasions when we don’t get things quite right for everyone.

On these occasions, we aim to do everything we can to resolve issues at the very earliest opportunity, and to the satisfaction of all parties.

If you have concerns over an issue caused by or happening in school which you consider important and to which reassurances are sought, we would advise that you try to resolve these in person in the first instance with the member of staff involved e.g. class teacher.  The policy below sets out what else can be done if you require further follow up.

There is always a member of staff on the playground each day as parents arrive at school. On Mondays and Tuesdays, this is the Headteacher and on Fridays this is the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator. This gives the opportunity for an informal conversation/catch up but appointments can always be made via the school office.
