This has been an exciting and busy week in Kestrels. In art we carved motifs into polystyrene tiles and then added two colours of paint to create some beautiful prints based on ammonites. We then used these designs to create 3D sculptures using clay.
We had a lot of fun during number day on Friday and enjoyed coming to school in non-school uniform to raise money for the NSPCC. We used Smarties to complete lots of different maths activities, worked together to complete a ‘Who Wants to be a Mathionnaire?’ challenge (we got 1,000,000 points) and also took part in an inter-house times tables challenge.
