In Kestrels class, we have been developing our artistic skills using watercolours. The children have been learning about colour theory to understand complementary colours as well as and practising their colour-mixing skills. We have learnt that mixing two primary colours will make a secondary colour whilst mixing equal parts of a primary and secondary colour will create a tertiary colour.
Below, we have been practising colour matching famous works of art. We will later use these colour palettes to create our own master pieces.
