We have enjoyed our last week of term in Wrens. We rounded off our learning about People Who Help Us by having a visit from Reverend Mary, she told us all about the different ways she helps people. Even our grown-ups learned some new things. We particularly liked seeing Reverend Mary’s bible which was full of her doodles.
We also baked Easter nests this week, and had an Easter egg hunt. We learned about the Easter story and that Easter is a time to celebrate new life. We finished chitting our seed potatoes and planted them so hopefully by the time we come back from Easter we will see some new life growing in our garden.
Some members of our class performed tap dancing and ballet in a performance of Alice In Wonderland at the weekend, they were very proud of their out of school achievements.
All the grown-ups would like to wish the children and their families a wonderful holiday, they are looking forward to hearing how we spent our family time when we get back to school, happy Easter break everyone!
