Maths Day

Owls celebrated Number Day by making Fibonacci sequences and spirals. They learnt that Fibonacci was an Italian mathematician from the Middle Ages who worked on a series of numbers that were first written in 6th century India. The series of numbers became known as Fibonacci numbers. The Fibonacci sequence is a series of numbers that creates a pattern. Children then used this pattern to measure and draw squares, joining them up with a spiral.
