It is the end of another wonderful week of learning in Wrens. We started the week by learning more about Diwali. We found out about the story of Rama and Sita. We made story maps, masks and puppets then had fun acting out the story in play and learn. We learnt more about how people worship and were very resilient when we tried Indian snack foods. We made divas out of clay, these are now drying and we will decorate them next week.
In phonics we have learnt some new sounds and have used all the sounds we now know in words. And in maths we practiced using positional language, we read Going On A Bear Hunt and Rosie’s Walk to help us understand this. Later we built an amazing obstacle course, we took care to make sure it was safe.
On Friday it was BBC Children In Need Day, we made our own Pudsey ears, turned the garden spotty and learned about how donating to this appeal is an act of kindness.
