Thank you for the wonderful turn out for the Wrens children’s Christmas singing extravaganza! We are all so proud of how beautifully they sang and we hope you enjoyed it!
This week in Drawing Club our text focus has been the Snowman and we have designed and written a sentence about our own snowman. This week I have also been monitoring the children’s letter formation, and this will be something that we continue to work on in our daily handwriting sessions. Watch this space, and your child’s book bags, for more information about our changes to handwriting.
In Maths this week we have been exploring the Polydron and have been talking about the properties of 2D shapes and 3D shapes. We have also been exploring the composition of number and the children always amaze me with their recall of number bonds to 5.
