In our Design and Technology lessons, Swifts have been working on making bag-tags as part of our ‘Cut, Stitch and Join’ project. We explored products made by joining pieces of material and learned about the designer Cath Kidston for inspiration. The children practised using sewing patterns and mastered the running stitch technique. We also experimented with different embellishments to make sure the bag-tags look attractive and unique. We are really proud of their hard work and creativity, and hopefully, these bag-tags can be used this summer for any trips they take!
