Kestrels have been learning all about persuasive writing features this term. They used ‘Stella and the Seagull’ as their inspiration, exploring how language and images can be used to influence an audience and share a clear message. The children then carried out their own research into issues they are personally concerned about and used this to create thoughtful and eye-catching persuasive posters. They showed great enthusiasm and creativity when presenting their ideas. Next, we will be building on these skills as we move on to writing persuasive speeches and letters.
