It has been a lovely day in Owls today.
We started the day publishing our explanation texts. We spent time editing and improving them and then wrote up our final pieces making sure we had included sub-headings, pictures and captions. If you ever need to know how to survive a desert island, come to Owls as they have all the survival techniques.
In Maths, we looked at co-ordinates. We developed our understanding of the 4 quadrants and read and plotted coordinates carefully.
This afternoon, we enjoyed our second session of our Mixed Media topic and created collages using colour, line or texture as well as learned how to add hotspots in our coding lesson.

Eliza has been totally captivated by the learning inspired by The Lost Book of Adventure. We’ve added it to our collection at home, it’s a fabulous book and we’ve all learned some great survival tips!
