Kestrels took part in an exciting English investigation this week. They explored different texts and books to find examples of authors using ‘the power of three’ in repeated words, lists, sentence starters and descriptive adjectives. The children spotted patterns such as ‘Up! Up! Up!’ and noticed how writers repeated phrases for effect. They discussed how these techniques made the writing clearer, stronger and more memorable. Kestrels then recorded their findings and shared their ideas confidently with the class.
