Our PSHE lessons this half term focus on Economic Wellbeing. Last week, we learned about where money comes from and the advantages and disadvantages of different payment methods (e.g. credit card, debit card, cash, online banking). This week, the children learned about budgets and had great fun working in groups to think about how they might spend a budget of £20 if they were planning a class party.
In maths, we are also learning about money and have been making different amounts in different ways. Next, we will move on to converting pounds to pence, adding/ subtracting money and giving change.
