Our new Maths unit is on Shape and today we began with a practical lesson, learning about angles and turns. The children had to face north, south, east or west and follow an instruction, turning a quarter/ half/ three-quarter/ full turn clockwise or anti-clockwise and say which direction they ended up facing.
In History, we have learned about the first attempted invasions of Britain, the successful invasion in AD43 and this week, we learned about Boudicca’s rebellion. The children have had great fun bringing the topic to life through drama activities and we had some very impressive Boudicca characters today. I wonder if you can guess which children were playing the fierce Boudicca from the photos!
