We have had a fantastic week in Owls and have thoroughly enjoyed the first lessons of our new topics. In Computing, we were introduced to micro:bits, while in History we explored key vocabulary linked to our Maafa unit. In PE, we learned about the key features of the Haka and its significance. We enjoyed practising key movements, focusing on the strong actions, facial expressions and teamwork.
In RE, we discussed why people go on pilgrimages, and in PSHE we developed our understanding of the different influences on our lives. We have also continued our work on colour in Art, mixing our own palettes to recreate colours from a picture.
It has been a busy and exciting week, and we are looking forward to learning even more next week.
