Swifts have enjoyed their learning this week.
In English, the children have been bringing their own versions of ‘The Frog and the Stranger’ to life through role play.
In Maths, we have been partitioning numbers up to 100 by working practically with resources to make tens and ones.
We recapped some of our significant people in history and sorted them into different groups. We thought about what makes a person significant and why we still remember them today.
In PSHE, we talked about bedtime routines and how a good night’s sleep helps us feel healthy, happy and ready to learn.
We also enjoyed getting outside for a Science habitat walk. The children looked closely at the environment around school and worked together to identify and sort things that are living and non-living.
