In our learning this week we have been focusing on developing our teamwork skills. In our Maths lessons we have been learning about measuring height and length in metres and centimetres. You can see from the photos below that we had to work as a team to measure objects in the classroom to see whether they were greater than or less than 1 metre.
On Wednesday afternoon we had the first of our weekly team building sessions. We had to complete two challenges. The first was moving through the hoop while we were standing in a circle holding hands. The second was carrying a metre stick across the playground in our teams but we could only hold it with one finger each. We thought carefully about the skills we would need to work well as a team and we tried our best to communicate clearly with each other and listen to each other’s ideas.
