We have had a busy week in Wrens this week. The children have enjoyed learning about A Dark Dark Tale by Ruth Brown and have been enjoying learning new vocabulary in our Drawing Club sessions. Everyone is making wonderful progress and it has been a delight to see the children apply their learning independently.
In Phonics this week we have been learning the sounds that the graphemes ‘ai’, ‘ee’ and ‘igh’ make and have also learnt the new tricky word ‘they’ and in Maths this week we have been subitising and thinking about the composition of numbers.
With the cold and wet weather we have been having, please can you ensure that your child has waterproof/warm coat in school and that they have wellies for wet weather as the children do go outside to play and explore in all weathers as long as it is safe to do so.
